Heating and furnace repair across the Valley
No heat when the weather turns cold? We find out why, tell you in plain words, and give you the price before we fix it.
How a heating repair goes
A heater that sat unused all summer often acts up the first time it runs. Here's what happens from the call to a warm house.

You tell us what it's doing
No heat at all, cool air from the vents, a smell or a noise. What you saw helps us bring the right parts.

We check the simple things first
A thermostat set to cool, a tripped breaker or a clogged filter can stop the heat. We rule those out before anything else, so you don't pay for a part you didn't need.

We find the real fault
On a gas furnace we look at the igniter, the flame sensor, the burners and the blower. On a heat pump or electric heat we check the heat strips, the controls and the outdoor unit.

You get the price first
We show you what failed and what the fix costs. Nothing gets done until you say yes.

We fix it and run a full cycle
Once the part is in, we run the heat through a full cycle and check the air at the vents. On a gas unit we also check that it's burning clean and safe.
Signs your heat needs a look
A Phoenix heater sits unused most of the year, then has to work on the first cold night. These are the signs it isn't ready.
No heat at all
The thermostat calls for heat and nothing happens. It could be power, the igniter or a control board. We find which one.
Cool air from the vents
The fan runs but the air never warms up. On a furnace that often means the burners won't light. On a heat pump it can be a valve or a refrigerant problem.
A burning smell that won't fade
A dusty smell the first time you turn on the heat is normal and goes away. A smell that lasts, or smells like hot plastic, means turn it off and call us.
It turns on and off over and over
Short runs waste power and wear out parts. A dirty flame sensor or a clogged filter is a common cause, and both are quick fixes.
Loud bangs, squeals or rattles
A bang when the burners light or a squeal from the blower is a part asking for help. Caught early, it's usually a smaller bill.
The carbon monoxide alarm goes off
Get everyone outside and call 911 first. Once the house is safe, we'll find where it came from before the furnace runs again.

What every heating repair includes
- Gas furnaces, heat pumps and electric heat
- A check of the burners, igniter and blower
- An upfront quote before any work starts
- A full heat cycle run before we leave
How the price works
We find the fault first, then quote the fix. The price we give you is the price you pay, with no hidden fees.
Many heating calls come down to one worn part, like an igniter or a flame sensor. If the system is old and the repair is big, we'll say so and price a new one next to the fix.
There's no emergency fee for a same-day visit, even in the first cold week of the year.
Questions about Heating Repair
Both. We repair gas furnaces, heat pumps, electric heat strips and packaged units on the roof. Tell us what you have when you call, or we'll find out when we get there.
Usually not. Dust settles on the heater over the summer and burns off on the first run. If the smell lasts more than an hour, or smells like hot plastic or wires, turn it off and call us.
Most calls get a same-day visit. There's no emergency fee for it, so a same-day visit costs the same as any other.
Yes. Any make, any model, whoever put it in. We find the fault and price the fix before we touch it.
If it lights, runs and shuts off normally, it probably is. A crack in the furnace can leak carbon monoxide, so keep a working CO alarm in the house.
It depends on the age, the repair and what it costs to run. We give you the price of the fix and, if it makes sense, the price of a new system. You choose.
If you run the heat in winter, a fall check is worth it. It catches a weak igniter or a dirty sensor before the first cold night instead of during it.
Yes. We repair heating on shops, offices and rooftop units across the Valley, with the same price-first rule.
